The Think-tank for Resources, Energy, and the Environment: Science and Policy-related Economic Analysis and Research (TREESPEAR) is a think tank and research group at Cornell University dedicated to using economics to analyze and tackle issues related to natural resources, energy, and the environment.

Our research is grounded in economics, informed by the natural sciences, and relevant for policy. We work on projects that are technically sound, innovative, challenging, and that are of interest to academics, business practitioners, and policy-makers alike. Our goal is make a positive impact on the world.

Our research is supervised by Professor C.-Y. Cynthia Lin Lawell, the Robert Dyson Sesquicentennial Chair in Environmental, Energy and Resource Economics in the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University.
